“For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink: I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me.” Matthew 25:36,37
We Value Our Community.
Tabitha’s Pantry and closet
Sometimes you just need a little help! Our Pantry helps on average 80 families per month. Every food and clothing item is free and given with a heart of love and compassion. Tabitha’s Pantry is a ministry designed to demonstrate God’s love for the people of our community through and from the people of True Life Church.
To help families who need food and clothing to be able to experience the love of Christ through His provision. We endeavor to be good stewards of the exceeding abundance God has given us. In doing so, we believe that we are an expression of the heart of Christ and an extension of His arms. Matthew 10:8 says “Freely you have received, freely give.”
To meet the food and clothing needs of the people in our neighborhood and surrounding areas with the love of Christ. We also offer sound biblical counsel to those in need of spiritual, mental, and practical guidance. (This would never be forced on anyone who may come in for food and/or clothing, but we do wish for people to know that we care about more than just their physical needs, just as our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ does.) Proverbs 19:20 says, “Listen to advice and accept instruction and in the end you will be wise.”
